Welcome! Over the past several months, the Office of Medicaid Innovation (OMI) has been working in partnership with the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services to develop an automated Prior Authorization System for certain types of Behavioral Health services, including Applied Behavioral Support (ABS) and Gender Affirming Treatment (GAT). Users will no longer need to complete Prior Authorization requests manually via email. The automated Prior Authorization System uses a web-based on-line portal to simplify and streamline the process for requesting, modifying, and tracking the status of Prior Authorizations. You have been selected to be in the pilot group for the new Clinical Review Platform. The Prior Authorization System is now live for pilot providers.
